About the project
In cooperation with our research partner, we have managed to create a universal mobility subsystem which was designed with the use of highly sophisticated omnidirectional wheels. The base comprises a steel skeleton designed for the flexible mounting of rigid axles. The skeleton allows universal use in various handling and transport areas and has been adapted to the implementation of the source subsystem, or platform height positioning subsystem.
The development of the universal transport platform also included the implementation of a functional prototype. Fully functional axles with omnidirectional wheels with integrated drives were manufactured. A supporting skeleton of the testing platform was produced, including the implementation of the locomotive subsystem and source subsystems. Subsequently, a test of this transport platform was performed which successfully verified its full functionality and correctness of the design.
